As part of the Unite project St. Matthews Guides are supporting Fort Alice which provides temporary accommodation and a range of support services for women and children who are affected by domestic abuse.

When families have to leave their home at very short notice they often leave with very little so the guides are making up welcome boxes and are collecting:

Toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant, shampoo, conditioner, face cloths, soap, small towels, brushes and combs, small washbags, tins or packets of food

And for the children - Crayons, colouring pencils, pens, colouring books, writing pads, erasers, small cuddly toys, sweets, small games.

If you would like to donate any of the above items they can be put in the box in Church or given to any of the leaders.
